Dido and Aeneas performance
Henry Purcell’s beautiful opera features the famous and haunting Dido’s Lament, the opera will be performed by the Addison Singers’ Musicianship Class.
The performance will take place:
7.45pm on Thursday 17 March
Holy Innocent’s Church, Paddenswick Road W6 0UB
(just a few hundred yards north from Ravenscourt Park tube station)
Dido will be sung by Victoria Mulley, with other solo parts taken by members of the group. The two witches will be sung by members of the Addison’s Chamber Choir and there will be a string quartet and harpsichord accompaniment.
No booking is required – donations more than welcome.
